What usually changes the total?

  • Collection location: a hospital or public mortuary is commonly included; home, care-home or hospice collection often has an urgent-transfer charge.
  • Ashes: scattering or collection may be included while hand delivery costs extra.
  • Container: a basic box, temporary container, scatter tube and permanent urn are different products.
  • Postcode: “mainland”, “local” and remote-area wording can prevent a precise online total.
  • Case-specific needs: time of collection, medical devices, weight, mileage and delayed paperwork can add charges.
