This is the audit trail behind every current provider comparison. A “checked” date records when we manually read the linked official source. It does not freeze the provider’s price, so always obtain a written total before paying.

  • Older titles and comparison copy still mention £450/£495 plus disbursements while the current offer says £995.

How corrections are handled

  1. Prefer the provider’s current live at-need product page, then its current Standardised Price List and terms.
  2. Keep conflicts visible instead of silently choosing the cheaper interpretation.
  3. Mark an amount “quote required” when postcode, timing or another selected need cannot be priced exactly.
  4. Correct the central provider record so tables, page text, calculator results and structured data change together.
